Enchanted Animal: Baby Girl
Before Baby Girl came to Wisconsin to be fostered by Underdog Pet Rescue, she spent many years at a sanctuary in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has been in foster for over a month now, and as she sleeps in our chair, I don't understand how this wonderful little dog hasn't found her forever home yet. I've already fallen in love with her.
My fiancee and I are currently serving as temporary fosters while Baby Girl's fosters are on vacation, and in just two days she's fit in to our home as if she belongs. When she first arrived to our home, she was defensive, nervous, and experiencing separation anxiety--whining for her fosters that she had become attached to. In less than 24 hours, she settled right in. She goes on walks with us and our dog Bullett, and greets us with a happy wagging tail and plenty of puppy kisses.
Baby Girl is housetrained, crate-trained, walks well on a leash, is not very food motivated, doesn't bark, and she has so much love to give. She can be a little hesitant and defensive with new people and dogs, but her little growls are all talk and she settles in to any situation incredibly well. She has gotten along with cats, dogs, and people. She is quiet and relaxed and happy to be wherever you are. She is one of the most lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever met.
She's a good girl, and while her face is a little funny I find it endearing. It's adorable, quirky, and part of her unique southern charm. If you met her, you could tell that she so desperately wants to love and be loved and is so deserving of this. Someone amazing out there should find this amazing dog and let her melt their heart. She could be, and wants to be, your very best friend.
